With our light weight equipment, we can offer surveys on any type of terrain.
The method is built up on registering the seismical waves that refracts from the geological layers which attributed with different velocities. A prerequisite for applying this method is that the seismic velocities increase as the depth increases. On land, we use geophones and 24 channel digital seismograph. The usual geophone distance is 5 meter in geophysical surveys that set up in a 115 meter profile. In order to connect several profiles together that are placed after each other, a method of overlapping geophones can be done. Bigger sediment thickness requires longer profiles and 10 or 20 meter geophone distance. The shot points are usually five times as far away as the geophone distances.
